Wrestling nose bleed plugs
Tonight, Veep ended its absolutely top-notch third season with a double episode extravaganza that dared to potentially redefine everything we have come to know about this show. To quickly summarize, the President resigned from office to take care of his suicidal wife — a situation that earned little if any respect from Selina and her crew — and this ensemble squad of misfits is now on their way to the Oval Office proper. Does that mean Veep will have to change its name when it comes back to HBO for its fourth season? Probably not, as Selina will presumably still be on the campaign trail to get herself voted into office, but it would be just like this series to change its name mid-run.

Deadly Nosebleed - TV Tropes
There wasn't much AJ Puerto could do either, as it slowly dripped down his nose. He was left seated on the mat, disoriented and out of breath as help arrived. His shoulder was wrapped up and his lead was long gone. A shot to the face now put his championship match on hold. I know it's going to happen again. Once again, Puerto found a way through it on Saturday.

WWE News. Alexa Bliss has revealed she thought her wrestling career was over following her second concussion injury last year. Bliss returned to the ring at the Royal Rumble in January and has been used in a main-event women's division feud with Bayley for the SmackDown women's championship in recent weeks. The year-old was concussed for the first time in September when she hit her head on the ring mat during the Hell In A Cell match against Ronda Rousey. After being cleared from that injury, Bliss suffered her second concussion, again in a match with Rousey, at a house show in Hartford, Connecticut a month later.

There are coaches motivating, consoling, cussing. There are wrestlers alternating across the full spectrum of human emotion, from elated to crushed, amid one of the biggest moments of their young lives. There are nosebleed plugs that keep the matches going. There is that tingling feeling that creeps through close to 15, bodies when the Parade of Champions begins on a Saturday night in late February. This is the Colorado high school state wrestling tournament, a sensory-overloaded mecca in its 22nd year at Ball Arena.
